Our Food
100% Fil-Am
Flavor! Flavor! Flavor! As Filipino-Americans we want to share our traditional filipino food, but also serve American classics with a punch of filipino flavors.
Filipino food itself is a fusion of multiple cultures. Filipino food is heavily influenced by Spanish and Asian cuisines.
OUR LOLA
The Name-Sake
Her name was Carmen Cadiente, but we lovingly know her as Lola ("Grandmother" in the Philippines).
In Filipino tradition, when you enter Lola's home, she would always ask you, "Kumain ka na?" (English: "Have you eaten?")
Lola always made sure her family and friends were fed with a good home-cooked meal. For my siblings and I, Lola's cooking was our comfort food. Our favorite go-to foods were adobo, pancit, lumpia, and fried rice.
Although she is not physically with us today, we continue to carry on her legacy and honor her by feeding others the dishes that were inspired by our Lola and our Filipino heritage.
